Gauguin's Activities
Gauguin's
cruising experience is informal, unhurried and unregimented.
This emulates Polynesia's way of life. No need for
the tuxedo and gown. "Enjoy and relax" is
the dress code.
Dining. Guests can enjoy the award-winning
faire. There are three dining options - French in a
classic setting, Le Cordon Blue Style or at the popular
Le Grill for casual grilled favorites on the deck.
Spa and Fitness. Guests can exercise
in a fitness setting and escape luxurious refuge from
everyday stresses at the Carita Spa. Combine the art
of gentle pampering with an extensive range of physical
regimens including health and revitalization, beauty
treatments and massages.
Regent Seven Seas Cruises recently received the honor
of "Best Cruise Line Spa" in Conde Nast Traveler's
2006 Readers Poll!
Entertainment Diversions. Delight
in Polynesian performances, dancing, cabaret singers,
a casino and the warm camaraderie of fellow guests.
Share the Paul Gauguin's highly personal, undiluted
experience of French Polynesia.
Active Cruisers. Each yacht features
a large retractable water sports marina. Guests can
enjoy a variety of water sports activities including
kayaking, water skiing, tubing, boarding, wave running,
snorkeling, or simply a swim. The Marina also has Jet
Skis. In addition, the Gauguin offers a scuba certification
program for scuba diving while on your Tahitian cruise.
Also on board is table tennis, shopping, a library
and movies.
Cruising with the Kids. Unique to
the Gauguin is the Ambassadors of the Environment program
which is designed for the young cruisers. In this program,
kids can take active excursions in and out of the ocean
and enjoy fun learning presentations. They can also
discover and learn about the environment. This is conducted
by degreed marine ecology naturalists for Jean-Michel
Cousteau.
